2. Device Overview

The ColaStick V1 Plus is a compact HDMI streaming stick. It plugs directly into your TV's HDMI port and can be powered either by your TV's USB port or the included power adapter.

4. Installation - 3 Methods

Direct HDMI plug-in

Plug ColaStick directly into an open HDMI port on the back or side of your TV.

HDMI extension cable

Use the extension cable if the HDMI port is tight, blocked, or too close to the wall.

Projector or travel setup

Connect to a projector or hotel TV, then power the stick with the included adapter for stable performance.

Important: If your TV USB port does not provide enough power, use the included wall adapter instead.

5. Initial Setup & First Boot

Select the HDMI input that matches the port used by ColaStick.
Choose your language and region.
Connect to Wi-Fi and wait for the home screen to load.
Confirm the remote can move, select, go back, and return home.

Tip: Setup is easiest when the remote is close to the stick and the Wi-Fi password is ready before powering on.

6. Remote Control Guide

PowerTurn the device or supported TV standby mode on/off.

Directional RingNavigate through menus and app rows.

OK / SelectOpen the highlighted item or confirm a choice.

BackReturn to the previous screen.

HomeReturn to the main home screen.

VoiceUse voice control where supported by the system and app.

7. Network & Wi-Fi

Open network settings, choose your home Wi-Fi, enter the password, and wait for the connected status.

Use 5GHz Wi-Fi when your router is nearby.
Use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi when the router is farther away.
Restart the router and stick if the connection drops repeatedly.

8. Installing & Managing Apps

Install compatible Android apps from trusted sources.
Keep your home screen organized around the apps you use most.
Remove unused apps to protect storage space and reduce clutter.
Restart an app or clear cache if it becomes slow.

9. Bluetooth Headphones

Use Bluetooth settings to pair supported headphones, speakers, keyboards, or remote accessories.

Put the accessory into pairing mode.
Open Bluetooth settings on ColaStick.
Select the accessory name and confirm pairing.

10. Display & Audio Settings

Choose a resolution supported by your TV or projector.
If the screen is cropped, adjust screen fit or overscan settings.
Use HDMI audio for standard TV sound.
Restart the app if audio does not update after changing settings.

11. Storage & Memory

ColaStick V1 Plus includes 32GB of storage for apps, cache, downloads, and system data.

Clear cache when apps feel slow.
Remove apps you no longer use.
Restart the stick after heavy use or long playback sessions.
Avoid filling the storage completely.

12. FAQ & Troubleshooting

No signal on TV

Confirm the TV is on the correct HDMI input, then reseat the stick or HDMI extension cable.

Stick restarts or freezes

Use the included power adapter instead of a low-power TV USB port.

Remote not responding

Replace the batteries, move closer to the stick, and follow the on-screen pairing prompt if shown.

Wi-Fi is unstable

Move closer to the router, switch bands, restart the router, or reduce interference near the TV.

App will not open

Close the app, clear cache, restart the stick, or reinstall the app from a trusted source.
