6. Wi-Fi & Ethernet Setup

Wi-Fi

Open network settings, choose your home network, enter the password, and wait until the connected status appears.

Ethernet

Connect a network cable from your router to the LAN port. Wired internet is the best choice for stable 4K playback.

Network warning: If playback buffers often, restart the router, move the box closer to Wi-Fi, or switch to Ethernet.

7. Installing & Managing Apps

The ColaBox L2 Plus runs Android 14 and supports compatible Android apps.

  • Install apps only from trusted and legitimate sources.
  • Keep frequently used apps near the front of the home screen.
  • Remove apps you no longer use to keep the interface clean.
  • Restart the device if an app freezes or stops responding.
Best practice: A simple app layout makes the device easier for the whole family to use.

8. Display Settings

  • Use the resolution setting that matches your TV or projector.
  • If the screen edges are cut off, adjust screen fit or overscan settings.
  • Enable compatible HDR settings only when your display supports them.
  • Use a high-quality HDMI cable for 4K playback.

9. Audio Settings

Navigate to Settings, then Display & Sound or Audio, depending on your system menu.

  • Use HDMI audio for standard TV sound.
  • Use optical output when connecting to a receiver or soundbar.
  • Check mute and volume settings if there is no sound.
  • Restart the app after changing audio output if needed.
Tip: If sound is delayed, check whether your TV, receiver, or soundbar has an audio sync setting.

10. Storage & Memory Management

Internal Storage

The device includes 64GB storage. Apps, cache, downloads, and system data share this space.

Speed Cleanup

  • Clear app cache when an app becomes slow.
  • Delete unused apps or downloads.
  • Restart the device after heavy app use.
  • Keep enough free storage for smooth performance.
Warning: Factory reset will remove local data and app settings. Back up anything important before resetting.

11. FAQ & Troubleshooting

No signal on TV

Make sure the power adapter is connected, the HDMI cable is seated firmly, and the TV input matches the HDMI port being used.

Remote not responding

Replace the batteries, move closer to the device, and check whether the remote needs to be paired again.

Wi-Fi drops frequently

Restart your router, use 5G Wi-Fi when close to the router, or connect Ethernet for the most stable setup.

App crashes or freezes

Close the app, clear its cache, restart the device, or reinstall the app from a trusted source.

4K content is not playing in 4K

Confirm that your TV supports 4K, use a compatible HDMI cable, choose a 4K display setting, and make sure your internet speed is strong enough.

Factory reset

Use factory reset only when basic troubleshooting fails. It removes local settings and returns the device to its initial state.

12. Warranty & Support

  • 30-day return window for eligible orders.
  • 1-year hardware warranty for supported issues.
